Formation of the Success-Ready Students Network

We are excited to announce the formation of the Success-Ready Students Network (SRSN). The SRSN, in collaboration with DESE, is a direct result of recommendations made by the Success-Ready Students Work Group (SRSWG), which were enthusiastically received by Commissioner Vandeven and the State Board of Education.

The SRSN is a collaborative initiative connecting the Missouri public school community. It is committed to supporting public schools in building the capacity of stakeholders to understand and use a competency-based mind-set to personalize learning in ways that ensure every student has the knowledge, skills and dispositions they need to be high school, college, career and workplace ready. Participants in the SRSN will have an opportunity to learn together and support DESE in designing and building reimagined assessment and accreditation systems.
