Dr. Mike Fulton provides an overview of the current collaborative work with DESE around the Demonstration Project connected to the creating a new state assessment.

Laurie Gagnon with Aurora Institute shared an in-depth presentation around the concept of mastery of competency. She shared examples of how this approach to learning looks at a district and classroom level. She also provided suggestions for transitioning classroom practice from a traditional to a mastery approach. Excellent resources were shared at the end of the presentation.
