2.1: District Sharing

SRSN members shared learning and experiences gained from the September 2024 Real Learning Pathways Conference in Kansas City. Participants visited 24 different districts who are vested in Real World Learning. SRSN participants appreciated seeing these innovative, engaging opportunities for students.

Representatives from SDZ Districts shared their dashboards which are designed to fulfill one of the required elements of the new Alternative Annual Performance Report. The slide deck provides links to all 20 SDZ district dashboards.

2.2: AI and Real World Learning

Nate McClellan, Getting Smart provided an excellent session sharing many opportunities for how AI can be connected to Real World Learning. He provided examples and demonstrations for how AI can be an efficient tool to create resources and support for personalizing learning. SRSN Member, Kristel Barr from the Raymore-Peculiar School District shared excellent thoughts around designing a balanced AI school policy.
