District Level Leaders Sessions

Deeper Learning Pathway: Leadership

Session 1: Introduction to the Future-Focused Instructional Framework

  • Intended Audience: District Level Leaders

  • Description: Characteristics and qualities that benefit society, as well as the care for the wellbeing of oneself and others, may be the most important of all skills because they are valued in all aspects of life, from the home to workplace, the community and beyond. These are the qualities and skills that employers, parents, in-laws, and community organizers will all appreciate far more than how well one can add or how many words per minute a person can type. Three primary skill sets (Basic Cognitive, Interpersonal, Self-Leadership) intersect with one another to form three sub-sets (Higher Cognitive; Digital, Technology & Communication; Social & Wellbeing). The interrelationship of these skill domains combine to illustrate the Future-Focused Instructional FrameworkTM and provide a guide to innovative teaching and learning that will provide ALL students with the skills to succeed in the future.
